The Czech MP chief Brigadier General Pavel Kříž took over the chairmanship of the NATO Multinational Military Police Battalion (NATO MNMPBAT) on Wednesday, December 6, from Colonel Michal Migát, Director of the Slovak Military Police, who held this position last year.
This happened during the annual conference that took place in Olomouc last week, part of which was a meeting of the Command and Control Group (CCG), the highest authority of the project, which includes Poland, Croatia and Slovakia in addition to the Czech Republic.
The NATO Multinational Military Police Battalion may be used in NATO operations for a range of specific activities in accordance with relevant doctrines. These include, in particular, stabilization operations and all-round police support for deployed allied forces.
